  4. + Button:   Increases magnification.

  6. - Button:   Decreases magnification.

  8. Reset Button:  Restores original magnification (which is 2X). 
  9.  
  10. C, NC, Off  Button:  This is a three way button which makes the magnifier function non-continuous (NC) or continuous (C) or turns off the magnifier without quitting.  In the non-continuous mode, the magnification window is updated only when the mouse is moved.  In this mode, the cursor does not blink as often as it does in the continuous mode.  Pressing the option key freezes the image.
